Field #3 is the grass field in the track. As of Fall 2015 here are instructions to get to the park when there is an event in Levi Stadium. This is important information in regards to your scheduled game coming up at Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park. You will face challenges getting to your game if you are not willing to follow these instructions. You will be frustrated, mad and late to your game. You also will have no one to blame but yourself. Do I have your attention? Games/Events are now common to us who play soccer in the shadow of Levi Stadium. We have learned to deal with these types of issues because we understand that if we don't use our fields, they may be taken away from us! No one but the tenant next door wants that. Be pro active, send this message to all of your parents, and your opponents right away. Tell them to expect a delay and to allow extra time. But most of all tell them to follow these instructions. Most common comment so far is I used my GPS, and it told me to go another way. Well guess what, their GPS is not aware roads will be shut down on game/event days. According to SC Police, the best and easiest way to get to the Soccer Park is to use Lafayette street (Search for Santa Clara Youth Soccer Park, or Levi Stadium on Google Maps). You should now be able to visualize the path you will need to take to get to the Soccer Park. There are four main ways to get to Soccer Park, 237, 101, Montague or 880. Use the map, and these instructions to guide you to your game. 1. Get onto Lafayette Street 2. Turn East onto Calle De Luna. 3. Make your first right onto Calle Del Sol. 4. You will be looking at Police and Orange cones. Drive up to them and tell them you are playing at Soccer Park. 5. Make the right at Tasman. 6. Drive towards the Stadium. As you get to the top of the overpass you will see the 3 soccer fields on your left. 7. Your next turn will be at the bottom of the overpass. Turn Right, towards the Golf Course. This will be on Centennial Blvd. 8. Next turn right on Stars and Strips. This will take you around to the Parking Lot for Soccer Park. 9. Parking is tight, so carpool, and allow extra time. You will be asked, just tell them you are playing soccer at the Soccer Park. It is a tough situation, but remember, it's not the soccer community that is causing this issue. Be nice to the police, they have a tough job.
