11 v 11 League (Spring and Fall)

Game Cards

  1. Each team provides a printed paper game card (line-up card).
  2. Referee and team reps sign before the game.
  3. Record all player misconduct (yellow and red cards).    
  4. Record match start time.  Teams have a 10 minute grace period.  
  5. Referee is considered late if not at the field 30 minutes before scheduled kick off.

Field Set up

  1. Each team provides two corner flags / corner cones.
  2. Each team provides one goal net.
    1. Net must be in place before scheduled kick-off.   10 minute grace period.
  3. Home team to supply at least two balls. 

Players

  1. Minimum of 7 to start or continue play.
  2. If less than 7, with consent of BOTH teams, at half time, the teams can play the remainder of the game as a friendly.   Record on match card.   
  3. JEWELRY - Law 4
    1. Jewlery that can be removed, should be removed.
    2. With referee approval, this jewelry may be worn if taped: Tiny nose studs, trim rings, septums that cannot be removed.  Tiny piercings that require special tools to remove.   Tiny earrings.  Flat ring bands.
    3. Jewlery that will not be considered for taping and must be removed to participate:  Large studs, hoops or hoop earrings, drop or dangle earrings.  Industrial ear piercings (thin metal bars). Finger rings with protrusions, bracelets, watches or fit bits. 
  4. Home team changes jerseys if color conflict.   Home team in white/light colored jersey.
  5. Soft caps, leggings, gloves and bandanas okay as long as there is no color confusion.   
  6. Knee, wrist and/or arm braces okay.  Hinges on knee braces must be padded or covered with a sleeve.  No exposed metal or plastic.  Pants may not be used to cover a knee brace.   
  7.  No splints or casts.  


8 v 8 League (Summer)

Game Cards

  1. No paper / printed match card required.   Captain (or their designee on the team) can show the game card to the referee on a smart phone.   New procedures are being developed (6/22/24).

Competition Rules

  1. Minimum of 6 players to start / continue an 8v8 match.   By mutual consent can play 5v5, 6v6 or 7v7 if not enough players.
  2. No half time.  Switch sides and start with a kick off. .  
  3. No slide tackling.  Award a DFK to the oppossing team at the spot of the slide tackle.
  4. No Offside  infractions.  Do not cal offside/l.  
  5. Goal kicks may not cross the half way line in the air unless first touched by another player.
  6. Opponents are 7 (not 10) yards from free kicks and kick offs.
  7. PK from 12 yards from goal line. 
  8. Once the GK has the ball in her hands, the GK may not throw, pint  or drop kick the ball directly over the halfway line in the air without the ball first touching another player or the ground.   Award an IFK at the halfway lineto the opponents for an infraction. 
  9. Substitutions at any stoppage with referee approval.   Exiting player must be off the field before the substitute enters the field.   Entering subsitute must enter at the half way line. 
  10. Shin guards required.
  11. Jewlery prohibited (with exception to Medic alert taped to the body). 
  12. Fleld players to wear similar colored jersyes.   Goalkeeper color must be different. 
  13. Use 1/2 of a regulation pirtch.  Mark areas and lines with flat cones, tape, etc.   Penalty area 14 ft x 34 ft. - not a rigid requirement.
