Player Passes

Player and coach passes are required. Acceptable player and coach credentials are current, laminated:

  • US Soccer Club player and coach passes
  • USYSA (CYSA) passes.

Note tournament advertising says any USYS affiliated team (for example SAY or AYSO) are permitted.   Tournament rules differ from advertising.   

Player Counts

  • 5v5 -- 3 guest players maximum. 10 players dressed for any game. 3 Players minimum to start or continue.
  • 7v7 -- 4 guest players maximum. 14 players dressed for any game. 5 Players minimum to start or continue.
  • 9v9 -- 4 guest players maximum. 16 players dressed for any game. 7 Players minimum to start or continue.
  • 11v11 -- 7 guest players maximum. 18 players dressed for any game. 8 Players minimum to start, 7 players to continue.

Orthopedic supports

Casts. No casts, air splints, metal splints. Braces at the discretion of the referee. Elastic only braces are permitted.

Concussion
When the official observes a player has symptoms of a concussio the player will be removed from the match and not allowed to further participate in the match.(USClub Soccer rules)

Age Modificatios 7v7 & 9v9

  • Any KFTM will be best of 3 (not best of 5) kicks,No heading - award IFK
  • 7v7  Build out line

Match Length

The length of any game may be shortened to shorter but equal halves if the referee or Tournament Director deems it necessary due to field conditions, weather, or darkness.

Games must end at least 5 minutes before the scheduled start of the next match.

Games that cannot play more than 25% of their scheduled time will be determined by KFTM - see field marshal.

Half time

Half time will be exactly five minutes. 

SemiFinal, Championship and Consolation Matches

Semi-final (or other games that must produce a winner) that end in a tie will go directly to penalty kicks as described by FIFA until a winner is determined.

If Championship or Consolation games (to determine 3rd place) end in a tie in regulation time, two 5-minute overtime periods will be played (with no rest period between them). Golden Goal rule will apply. If the game is still tied after the overtime periods, both teams will take penalty kicks as described by FIFA until a winner is determined.

Team listed first is the home team. Home team switches colors if a conflict.
Home team supplies match balls 

Send offs

Referees complete a sendoff report - see the field marshal. Pass is retained by the field marshal.

Match Balls

7v7 and 9v9 use Size 4.
11v11 use Size 5.
